Faith, Food and Fellowship

Healing House is where women and children find safe haven, restoration, and recovery from the wounds of addiction, prostitution, chronic poverty, and prison. Prayerfully consider helping to serve these women and their children and learn more abouth the work of Healing House.

Our next dinner for 2010 with the families at Healing House will be on Satuday October 23rd 5:00-8:00 p.m. Fr. Paul and i will be on hand, but we need about 4 or 5 more helpers.

First we need someone to cook the meal (or buy prepared food). This can be done here or at home and then brought to the shelter. We serve the food,and eat with the families.Then we need some folks to play with the children or do a craft while the Moms are upstairs with Fr.Paul (and the rest of us) for the evening reflection and lesson. We are out the door right at 8:00pm.
